Major General of the Marine Corps, Smedley Butler, was to lead the coup. Smedley, tired of being what he felt was a gangster for capitalism, balked and reported his findings to Congress.

Sure they have all the guns, but if we keep the internet, this shit is going to kill the government because such scandals would alert just about everyone. Once they lose their surprise, our numerical advantage should deal with their lame attempts at imposing martial law. Dude, this isn’t some crazy conspiracy by evil dissenters (I assume this is how you think). This was testified by the most respected military officer of the day to Congress. This is in the books. Just because no one was arrested, and it was swept under the rug of history, it doesn’t mean it’s not true. Stop being corporate America’s bitch.
