After 8 years of “trickle down economics” and record breaking profits by corporations, I’m not buying it. Bush cut taxes for corporations and gives them a tax credit for outsourcing, yet unemployment and the cost of goods is at an all time high. I’m ready to try the other way.

Good luck. I’ve tried that in the past. They won’t listen. Corporations only serve as the middleman in the taxation process.

Products that we purchase have already increased considerably. A majority of the increases right now are due to gas and energy costs. If you look at it in this view : If gas prices can start to decrease then some business operating costs may also decrease. Another issue as to why prices have increased is because of the growing popluarity of ethanol and the fact that there was 8% less corn planted in the us this year and corn is even used in some diapers and batteries. There are countless consumer products that use corn. We need an administration that will help the business keep its gas and energy costs down. One who will look into alternative solutions to energy. That is not happeing in this administration. McCain doesnt have a good plan set forward for this either so I think that we need to go with the canidate who is planning to help our energy crisis.

They are incapable of taking their reasoning one step deeper. They assume that taxation doesn’t affect behavior. That the companies or the taxpayers won’t adapt to the new condidtions.

Because they dont understand the basics of economics and the fact that its all inter connected. You cant affect one with out affecting the other. The consumer and the business are interdependant. This is something the democrats dont seem to understand. Its sad really.
